I am starting to add detail and more color definition to the midground of the Redwoods mural. Not happy with how the dead log was looking, I opened the area under it to show it's at the edge of a valley. Also lightened it up and have started adding a few plants. Got more of a feeling of depth now.
I love the depth in the second picture. The open path framed by the trees really creates an inviting feel that is only enhanced by the midground lighting.
ReplyDeleteI can totally see a cluster of chairs in front of the trees and a small table near the path, or by the root ball, to evoke a feeling of finding a forest clearing to sit and relax with a good book or friends.
I bet I'm not the only one who wants to see this finished. It's going to be beautiful.
